Basic Plot Summary:
There are 3 different stories of love told in this film…

– A young guy meets a man and falls head over heels in love with him.

My Thoughts:

May contain Spoilers!!!
And by ‘May’ I mean does!!!

I felt a little annoyed throughout the film, for me there was a lack of consistency with the filming: in regards to the single mother’s story (Xiaoya) it was really visual with the constant use of  flowers, the colours were very vivid and every scene seemed more intense whereas the other stories weren’t as detailed and seemed less visually interesting…I don’t really like “artsy” films especially if the ‘artsy-ness’ is inconsistent. But that’s just me.

The film took a while to get going, and if I’m being honest…I wasn’t totally impressed with it.
I found the ‘French class story’ really dull, but I did like the french…hehehe
For the record…the director and writer guy played François coincidentally they both have the same name! Stroke of luck! ehehe (jk jk, the director acts in this film, which isn’t common I dont think, so that’s good!)

The ‘gay story’ I’m sure is what you’re all here for. It was…okay,
In a nut shell, this adorable man (Bass) meets a guy that he met in a club 2 years ago (Cheng) the two get talking, Cheng already has a boyfriend but Bass gives his phone number anyway, they go out and flirt, Cheng’s boyfriend is an ass so Cheng asks if he can stay with Bass, he agrees but then changes his mind because he knows that Cheng only wants to stay with him to piss off his boyfriend.
Then Bass wakes up, opens to front door to see Cheng there with his packed bags, from then on Cheng abuses his kindness, his hospitality and his feelings.
From a perverted point of view: The sex scene between these two guys was wonderful!

Don’t get me wrong I didn’t hate the film! It’s just…I don’t really like this style of film..

Oh! This film contains 2…and a half sex scenes, younger viewers…proceed with caution… !
(Yes- there is only a half because we didn’t see anything…THAT intimate between Xiaoya and Cong!)

TO CONCLUDE: It’s not my type of film, I didn’t like all those flowers, the gay sex scene was fantastic, the French class story could have been waaaaay better and young viewers close your eyes during the sexy parts.

I rate this
3/10

Although I really liked it…i couldn’t help but feel like i was missing something, as if some parts were cut out…

Btw this is only a short film. Why is that that short films are always the cutest? Damn you, film makers!
Anyway…everything in this movie is symbolic, from the Rabbit in is dreams, to his curly hair. I liked the symbolism!
And I felt a part of me die when Kwang shaved his lovely curly hair off </3

It was a little bit disappointing, as there wasn’t much physical contact between Kwang and Cheng… *sigh*
Kwang’s curly hair is awesome though!….and his hands are really nice too…. Kwang is just really attractive!!

Not a fan of the awkward moment when Cheng and Kwang go to this….Library(!? Seriously, was that a Library?!) and watch some porn. I DO NOT ADVISE you having the volume on when that scene takes place if your parents are in the next room….lorddd
I did laugh quite a bit when I saw all those tissue boxes though….

I believe…this Chinese for this movie is 少年不戴花…. not being able to speak Chinese, I have no idea

Watch Online:
The film is avaliable on youtube, however the subs are hard to see in some shots….especially when its on a white background, I had to go blind through some of it, but I cant find a better subbed version, sorry!!

*~WARNING!!!~*

And by ‘May’ I mean does!!!

Wow….this movie is intense. So intense….
It took me a while to work out which characters were which, but I eventually got it.

Okay just a few things:
The movie isnt exactly what I would call a Boys Love Movie, in fact….its not really
Its only here because shows the closeness between the boys and it was recommended to me 🙂

Quote: ” even though there is heavy homoerotic tension between the characters, Royston Tan (the director) says that the boys whose lives he portrayed do not identify as gay.”

This movie does show a lot of shocking images, (It is rated 18 so….yeah ) such as self harming, moderate violence and drug trafficking. Most of these images are graphic, so just to warn you!

I think the character that I liked the most was Shaun. he was pretty cool. His dad was a total ass though, even though we only saw his arm….
Vynn was alright too.
I didnt like Armani, he was a bit …much

Just to say I don’t really want to get into a whole thing, i know that this film was created to give an accurate description on gang life in Singapore and I believe the ‘characters’ are real people and I believe this film to be only semi documentary semi drama.
(but I don’t know this for sure)

Its a very intense movie!!!! I know I’ve said that before!

This might be a bit far, but it reminded me of the movie “Requiem for a Dream” because it shows the things that no one really wants to talk about or even acknowledge, such as drug use, violence and prostitution.

This type of film really isn’t my cup of tea. I like films which touch on serious topics but gang related films just…I don’t like it.

For BL quality only
*even though this isnt a bl movie….*
2/10

The next day, while Minsu’s mum is at church, the two become intimate….which (unfortunately) is cut short when Minsu’s mum returns…and sees everything…

My thoughts :

CONTAINS SPOILERS

I really liked this movie, its a shame its only 30 minutes long.
Okay, first things first….that song at the begininng….what?!?! lol

Seoki is so adorable on the bus! The relationship between Seoki and Minsu is so beautiful!!!
I really don’t like the whole “Mother finds out about gay love, will she hate you forever?” Storyline….but this one, I can deal with
I think the worst thing….was when the mother saw them, and just…stood there with that look on her face and then left. Psychological torture.

Ahh my god when that girl is upset about her lover being gay…and tells Seoki and he’s all like “I could tell….how did you not know?!!” Wow Seoki, way to be sensitive!

– I laughed a little when that jesus figure smiled  –

Minsu and Seoki FOREVER!!
The ending….Noooo!!! They have to go through all of it again….lol

Not gonna lie…when I saw the DVD cover I immediately thought they were holding his stomach…like he was pregnant, It wasn’t until i stared at it for a while did I realise they were unbuttoning the shirt

I really recommend this movie….sure its really short, but its so cute.

My Thoughts:

CONTAINS SPOILERS

This film was…..hmmmm….I dont know.
It was alright. Totally weird at times.
The older lawyer guy was a bit too creepy for my liking. It annoyed me when his friend rejected him…and acted cold towards him afterwards. Eric has had a pretty crappy time…Its like this poor guy can never win!

I thought the relationship with Cheng was so lovely…I’m really annoyed that never worked out. The tit was only using him to get over the boarder. And what’s up with his parents?! Jeeeeez, his dad….seriously?!
But seriously though, Eric and Cheng were so sweeeeet 😦

This type of film isn’t really for me, I don’t like being left frustrated. And my god I was frustrated!~
Damnit Cheng! Why did you have to leave ?!T.T

My thoughts:

CONTAINS SPOILERS

Prepare to have your heart ripped from your chest. I’m not even joking.

These guys are so adorable….seriously!!!
Lun and Jeng ..! Ahhh when they’re play fighting on the bed…I swear, it was so cute!

Ohhh my god, dont forget the swimming pool scene..I couldn’t handle that scene, I had to take a break – scream for a little bit and then take a cold shower before resuming.

It’s so heartbreaking when Jeng’s team mates are making fun of him and picking on Lun. And Jeng was trying to defend them both, and then ends up getting kicked off the team.

And then Jeng breaks it off with Lun…Lun’s face…
Oh god and when he sees Cin and Jeng together…HEART WRENCHING.

It was all too much, seriously…people with weak hearts, you wont be able to handle this.

But the ending was so lovely, I’m so glad Cin and Jeng broke up so freely.
When Jeng was running to find Lun, my heart leapt!
And the hug at the end, Lun didnt even have to turn around to know it was Jeng, how perfect, and then my heart melted xD

Even though its only 40 minutes long it’s still worth seeing!
I know how a lot of people don’t really like short movies, honestly i’m not a big fan but this one was really good, and even though it wasn’t that long it doesnt ‘feel’ like it was a short movie….If that makes any sense at all.

Unfortunately i don’t know the actors….sorry 😦

8/10

Thoroughly depressed, Tadashi sees a couple on the train, intrigued, he follows them…

My thoughts:

CONTAINS SPOILERS

I didnt….really like this.
Okay, well, the beginning is what I didn’t really like,
…but..
The ending was so lovely!

What an awesome wedding! I wouldn’t mind those two marrying me ehehe

And the hospital scene….it made a very good point, that his boyfriend wasn’t notified that he was in hospital, his mother was the first to know. (I forget who was in hospital, either Hiroki or Shinji) EQUALITY FOR EVERYONE!!!!!

So….What did this movie teach us?

Well, if the person you’re following gets hit by a car, and you help them, there is a very good chance you’ll meet your future husband. Good deal, I think
Keigo is just awesome. End of

I didnt really think too much of this movie…I would love to be able to justify why I didn’t like it, saying “the beginning” is a little bit vague… but I honestly can’t! sorry

So yeah, I rate this:
4/10

Oh! Nudity! A hell of a lot of nudity!
Watch out for dem nakkid bodyz

My Thoughts:

THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS

The first time I watched this film I didn’t like it, now that I’ve seen it again I can’t quite understand why that is.
Admittedly I wasn’t blown away by it the second time either, but I did enjoy it – as much as anyone could enjoy having their heart smashed with a sledge hammer but I digress.

I was only able to understand half of this film, when I got about an hour into it the subtitles decided that they didn’t want to work. You know when they say “it’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all”, this cannot be applied to subtitles. It’s better to have never had subtitles than to have them cruelly snatched from your arms.
But anyway…no subtitles…yeah, so I had no idea what anyone was talking about for the last half of the film (excluding the scenes where they speak English).

I really liked the concept of mortality, as good ol’ Wikipedia says this film “examines the limit of life” which is 100% accurate, this film does in fact do that. It’s also “semi autobiographical” and I personally liked how we followed Ivan from his childhood to his eventual death.

Previously I rated it  3/10 but I’m going to bump that up to a 6/10. There are so many of you out there who would watch this film and thoroughly enjoy it’s realistic yet sad scenes but for me, I need to be in the mood to watch something that could ultimately cause an emotional breakdown. Some scenes were little awkward to watch (surprisingly I’m not talking about the scenes when everyone is wandering around naked) and I had to ask myself “would people really do that?”
But anyway, 6/10

Introduction

I used to write a blog over on blogger which summarised and gave spoilers for BL films, dramas and anime.

BL, or boys love, is a term used to describe a homosexual/homoerotic relationship.

My blog had over 600,000 views, but since I no longer use that account I want to move everything over here.

Sadly I’m no longer interested in this particular genre anymore in the same way I’m not a horny teenage girl ahaha so this means I wont be writing anything new. I will, however, be revising my posts to remove any copyright content and make sure that everything is okay – my teenage self really had no idea what she was doing!

To all those interested in BL, Yaoi, shounen-ai or anything like that, WELCOME.
To all those who are homophobic in any way I’d like you to leave and never return, your hate isn’t wanted here.
