However, the postcards weren’t meant for her….
My Thoughts:
And by ‘May’ I mean does!!!
Another short movie…. *sigh* Damn you Korea! why must you create such insanely cute movies but make them so unbearably short!?!
I really liked this short movie though, it was so lovely…BUT OMMMGGGGG when ‘Mr. Postman’ sees Miss Park at the guy’s address…I died inside,.
…and when they’re both at the public bath but facing the wrong way I was screaming “TURN THE * bad word * AROUND!” at my laptop screen.
I really don’t like getting so aggravated at movies…especially those which last 14 minutes!
I’m just going to imagine that there is an extended version of this where Mr. Postman turns around, sees the cute guy, then cute guy turns around, they then stare into each other’s eyes…and just smile lovingly at each other..
Thats all I ask for!! 40 extra seconds of smiling! There doesnt even have to be any kissing or anything…just…a smile
But despite my frustration and longing for 40 extra seconds of smiling…I enjoyed it!
I rate this adorably frustrating 14 minute movie, that needs 40 more seconds:
8/10
Please feel free to leave a comment to tell me (and others!) what you thought!

Title: Boy Meets Boy / 소년, 소년을 만나다
Release Date: 2008
Language: Silent Movie / Korean
English Subs? – Yes….not needed though, not much happens
Cast:(actor – character)
Hye-sung Kim – Min-soo
Hyun-jin Lee – Seok-i
Basic Plot Line:
Min-soo and Seok-i come face to face in a bus after Min-soo drops a roll of film, which rolls to Seok-i’s foot. There is a definite connection between the two…
Min-soo gets off the bus…he looks behind him, expecting Seok-i to have followed..
A…fairy (?!) appears singing to Min-soo giving him advice.
Seok-i gives Min-soo a camera that was stolen from him.
It’s shown that Seok-i has in fact been following Min-soo trying to give him back his camera. As Seok-i walks away Min-soo runs after him and they embrace.
My Thoughts:
Now this movie is only 13 minutes long. But there is a longer version which is 15 minutes long….give or take.
I thought it was cute….brief…but cute 🙂
I’m not sure if these characters are meant to be the same as those in ‘Just Friends?’ but they have the same names…If they are meant to be the same then its very confusing, because the Seok-i in this movie is totally different, personality-wise, to the Seok-i in Just Friends?….so i dont think they are the same characters….maybe the people who made the film just really like the names?! ahahha
HOLY CRAP HYE-SUNG KIM IS CUTE!
What kind of friends does Seok-i have?! You dont go around stealing stuff from people!! Especially not cute guys like Min-soo
Its good!
Short movies are way too short -.-”
I rate:
6/10

Title: A Frozen Flower / 쌍화점
Release Date: 2008
Language: Korean
English Subs? – Yes
Cast:
(actor – character)
Zo In Sung – Hong Lim
Ju Jin-mo – The King
Song Ji-hyo – The Queen
Basic Plot Summary:
The king’s palace guard is made up of 36 young soldiers, trained since they were very young. Their commander, Hong Lim has always had a close relationship with the King.
The King is married to a princess, and they have no children.
As they get older the King is pressured into producing a successor to the throne.
Because the King is unable to have sex with the Queen….he orders Hong Lim to have sex with her and produce his child.
However…their relationship does not just stop with sex…a passionate love blooms between the Queen and Hong Lim.
Creating a completely complex love triangle….
My thoughts:
*~WARNING!!!~*
May contain Spoilers!!!
And by ‘May’ I mean does!!!
Now i’ve said this many time before: I hate love triangles…they ruin a perfectly good relationship…but honestly….I don’t hate anyone in this movie!
Shocking. I know!
I feel sorry for each of the 3 characters in a way….and I’m going to tell you why…
Hong Lim…the poor guy, he had no idea what he was doing most of the time. Ever since he was young the King had shown him nothing but love and kindness and then he asks him to go have sex with the Queen….surely you can see how that could be confusing!?
He cant help falling in love with the Queen
I feel sorry for the Queen because this poor woman just wants to be loved by someone…Unfortunately her husband cant love her the way she wants him to… Naturally you’d fall in love with the man who shows some sort of affection for you,
And the King….you cant imagine how hard it must have been for him to ask his lover to have sex with his wife, but he did it for his kingdom..and i get that. Its completely understandable that he felt betrayed by Hong Lim when he finds out they are actually having a relationship.
Although i do feel the castrating him was a bit far…
On a slightly different note….Everyone’s hair looked fabulous! I loved it!
I rate:
8/10

Basic Plot Summary:
Kim Jin Hyuk decided to open a cake shop…even though he cant stand them, he believes thousands of beautiful women will flood into his shop. He hires a talented patissier, Sun-Woo. Ex-boxer Ki-beom and his childhood friend/bodyguard SooYeong.
Although seemingly careless and happy, each of the four men have unforgettable past they are afraid to face, but their secrets slowly being to unravel…
My Thoughts:
I love this movie!!! Sooooo much!!!
I’ve seen it over and over again….little bit obsessive but….I DON’T CARE!
Ji-Hyuk was horrible to Sun-Woo when they were in high school…You dont throw cake at people, it’s just rude.
Even though this is in my list of Boys Love movies….it isn’t really based around a BL relationship, like the other ones.
This movie focuses on this kidnapping thingy…which is related to Jin-Hyuk as he was kidnapped and forced cake when he was younger…this experience still haunts him.
…In my heart I wished there was more focus on Sun-woo….oh well…
Jean-Baptise sucks. How dare he hurt Sun-Woo!!
My god i’m way too protective…
Although I did appreciate ‘l’élément français’ I could practice my French ;D
I like Ji-Hyuk’s attempt at trying to get Sun-Woo to stay…bless him, he’s so transparent 🙂
Its a really great movie!
I rate 8.5 /10
Purely for the lacking in BL quality between Jin-Hyuk and Sun-Woo ;D and the 0.5 is because Kim Jae Wook is just so damn attractive!!!!
Screen caps:
These are pretty much all of Jin-Hyuk and Sun-Woo :L
For the record…This movie is based on the manga “Antique Bakery” (Seiyō Kottō Yōgashiten) Which has also been adapted into a Japanese drama.
The drama in my opinion isn’t that great….there Ono (who in the Korean movie is Sun-Woo) isn’t gay..he’s a straight guy who just cant talk to women…
Kinda disappointing.
I also found the anime version to be disappointing.
For me, the korean film version is the best!~

stole that last bit from here
What to expect:
Strong male characters, stupid parents getting involved in their son’s life and a crazy friend with access to a shovel. But sweet ending.
Oh yeah, sex and nudity!!
My thoughts
THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS
Well after reading the old summary post, I’m greatly embarrassed that I posted it.
At the time it was so long since I watched the film so I couldn’t remember what happened yet I still proceeded to post it.
It’s a good film.
I thought the film was going really well: it was progressing very steadily once Su-min accepted Jae-min, when Jae-min’s parents get involved and orders him to marry his ‘girlfriend’ and when Jae-min gives Su-min the cold shoulder in the corridor – I was totally prepared for the story to develop. When Jae-min is the elevator with his girlfriend and parents and then reveals to her that the guy they just saw is the man he loves – I was happy, their romance is going to get back on track this is great!
But then some genius comes up with the idea of kidnapping Jae-min and doing what with him? Burying him in the forest!
I’m just glad Su-min came to his senses and stopped it!
I wouldn’t say this film was the best film I’ve seen, but it wasn’t awful! The story starts off as something very typical of a BL film, the last 20 minutes or so totally threw me!~
I was thinking that if Su-min doesn’t die from that head wound, they’re both going to die from the cold and mean as though that didn’t kill them, they were definitely going to die from that crash.
But nope! No death, only happy endings!~
I’m going to rate this film
6/10
Screencaps
Hahah not really, screencaps not avaliable this time
